Rex Ashley

Rex joined the Rye House Drivers Club in 2019 (aged 9) and entered his first Championship. 



The following year Rex entered the Fangio Championship Cup, and was runner up after 9 rounds.



In 2021 Rex was Champion of the Monaco Championship, and Champion of the Jenson Championship 2022, a back-to-back Champion. 


Rex entered the Club100 National Championship ‘22 and came 6th out of 60 racers, traveling across the country on many different tracks

such as Bayford Meadows, Buckmore Park, Whilton Mill, PFi, Clay Pigeon & Lydd.


Rex competed in The British Indoor Karting Championship and was a regional finalist.



In 2023 Rex started as an owner driver competing in National Championships in the Junior Rotax category, racing for Msports Racing team.

Won best Notice and also entered the British E Plate.


2024 has been selected to race for the Zip Karting team and will be competing on many tracks around the country.

Champion of the Jenson Championship Cup 2022

Nine rounds held every month from March - November. Won the Championship by Round 8,  and achieved the most amount of points in all the Rye House Championships '22.

Rex now holds the fastest ever lap of the 6 six years the Jenson Championship has been running, also the record for the long hairpin track breaking under 50 seconds.

Champion of the Monaco Championship Cup 2021

Nine rounds held every month from March - November, so changing weather conditions  with several races in the dark. Came down to the last race and the strategy paid off, becoming the champion at the end of the season with the most amount of points and season wins (5).

Rex raced with the Mspsort team last year and this year has joined the Zip Kart Racing team.


His winning mentality, respectfulness and good attitude can achieve Rex's vision to succeed.
